What TuneCore's AI policy says
TuneCore's rule depends on which AI model made the music, not how much AI you used. It set this out in its GenAI Music Content Framework in March 2026.
- TuneCore only distributes music created with GenAI models trained on fully licensed datasets.
- The rule applies even if AI was used at only one step of making the track.
- TuneCore names Google Flow Music as an approved partner and says more partners will follow.
- Believe and TuneCore began blocking tracks from unlicensed AI platforms, including Suno, on 30 April 2026 (as reported).

These points come from press, search snippets or pages we could not read in full. We are re-checking them by hand.
- TuneCore's framework page was read through the help centre's public article feed (last updated 2026-10-15); it names only Flow Music, not Suno, Udio or ElevenLabs. Re-check in a browser.
- The 30 April 2026 block of Suno tracks comes from press, not a TuneCore or Believe page we could read.
- Which Suno models count as the industry partner model, and whether it is live for all users.
How TuneCore's rules fit with the stores
TuneCore is one layer. When it accepts an AI song, each store it delivers to (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok and the rest) still applies its own AI rules, and some stores will not take AI releases from some distributors. If you used an AI generator, its terms decide whether you own the song in the first place.
