Linkfire is a smart-link platform for music, now priced at $27 a month for one artist (Pro) and $55 a month for up to five (Teams), with no free plan. The alternatives below run from free to $20 a month.
Last updated: 4 October 2026. Prices checked on 2026-10-04 on each company's own pricing page.
We build Stage, one of the six alternatives on this list. It is ranked where we think it belongs, and the places where Linkfire beats it are written out in their own section. For all three of Linkfire, Feature.fm and Stage in one table, see Linkfire vs Feature.fm vs Stage.
Why people look for a Linkfire alternative
Price. Linkfire's pricing page lists Pro at $27 a month, or $21 a month billed yearly, and Teams at $55 a month, or $45 billed yearly. Premium and Enterprise are priced on request. Its own blog post on the best smartlinks for 2025 still says "Plans range from $10/month to $100/month", and Capterra still lists $10 per user per month. We could not find when the price changed, but a solo artist now pays at least $21 a month.
No free plan. Linkfire offers a 7-day or 14-day free trial with no credit card. After the trial you pay or you stop. Every alternative below has a free option.
A label-first product. Linkfire's pricing page says "Every plan includes full feature access, only workspaces and user seats scale with you." That is a fair model for a team. In April 2026 it moved accounts into "Artist Workspaces" (over 4,500 workspaces created and more than 40,000 links migrated, by its own count) and added a Mailchimp sync. None of this means Linkfire is going away. It does mean the product and the price are aimed at teams and labels more than at one artist with a release every few months.
What to check before you switch
- Does the free plan include pre-save, and does it expire?
- Is fan email capture included, capped, or a paid add-on, and can you export the list?
- Can you send to the list from the tool, or only sync it to Mailchimp?
- Is the link on the tool's domain, your own domain, or a branded subdomain?
- Does the tool do anything besides links: a press kit, playlist research, planning?
The 6 Linkfire alternatives
1. Stage
Price: Free with no time limit. Pro $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (about $8.33 a month). Manager $39.99 a month. The first Pro payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Free plan: unlimited Smart Links, fan email capture on every link, "remind me" pre-save, 29 classic and 4 motion templates, the EPK builder with all 116 templates as a hosted link, Playlist Fit, 250 email sends a month to captured fans, and 15 credits a month for HANI, an AI manager built on Anthropic's Claude.
Pro adds: the full 145-template Smart Link library, brandmark removal per link, the full analytics dashboard (channels, countries to city level, devices, best time to share, QR-code source), EPK export to PDF and HTML, the reward gate, 5,000 email sends a month with CSV import, and 30 HANI credits a day.
Best for: artists who want the link, the fan list, a press kit and planning help in one account for less than half of Linkfire Pro. If the press kit is what you need first, start with the free EPK template.
Limits: no custom domain yet; links live on stage.groovegainer.com. One artist per account; multi-artist roster and team seats are in development, not shipped. Pre-save is the email kind: the fan leaves an email and the page flips to live buttons on release day, and it does not save to the fan's Spotify library through OAuth. The reward gate (an email gate, a follow gate or both, unlocking a download or other link) is Pro only, and its follow option runs on the honor system: Stage cannot verify a follow. No ad product. Free links carry a "Stage by Groove Gainer" brandmark.
2. Feature.fm
Price: Free $0; Basic Artist $8 a month; Artist $19 a month; Pro Artist $39 a month. Artist and Pro Artist have a 7-day trial. No annual price is shown.
Free plan: 7 days of insight data and one pre-save service.
Best for: artists who run paid ads to pre-save pages. Feature.fm added a Spotify Pixel with Conversions API (May 2026) and a TikTok Events API (March 2026), and offers Future Saves for all your later releases. Artist and Pro Artist include one custom domain and one custom sub-domain, email export and Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign sync.
Limits: email capture is capped per link: 50 on Basic Artist, 200 on Artist, unlimited only on Pro Artist at $39. Insight data lasts 28 days on Basic Artist and 90 days on Artist. The pricing page lists "Powered by Feature.fm" branding on landing pages and no artist plan that removes it, and no tool for sending email to fans. No press kit, no AI assistant. More in our Feature.fm alternatives page.
3. Hypeddit
Price: Rookie free (after the Pro trial). Basic $9 a month billed annually ($108 a year) or $14 month to month. Pro $13 a month annually ($156) or $29 monthly. Elite $99 a month annually ($1,188) or $149 monthly.
Free plan: unlimited smart links and download gates. Pre-saves and fan email collection start on Basic.
Best for: producers and DJs who give away downloads in return for likes, reposts, comments and follows on SoundCloud, Spotify, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms. Basic adds custom URLs and domain; Pro adds AI-powered music ads and fan analytics. Its Top 100 charts give a gated track a second place to be found, and its homepage claims "100,000+ Happy Artists & Bands".
Limits: no press kit. The annual totals are billed up front, so read the billing toggle. More in Stage vs Hypeddit.
4. Copythistune
Price: Free, "$0 forever". Pro $4.99 a month or $49.90 a year.
Free plan: unlimited smart links, bio link pages and short links; pre-saves on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer; follow-to-unlock gates; one fan email broadcast a day; full analytics; Meta and Google pixels and the Meta Conversions API; three promo videos a month.
Best for: the most link features for no money. Pro adds unlimited marketing emails, 90 promo videos a month, a yourname.copythistune.com subdomain and up to five team members, which makes it the cheapest small-team option here.
Limits: it is new: its Product Hunt launch in 2026 had two upvotes when we looked, and we found no independent reviews. No press kit. You are betting that a young company keeps its free plan this generous.
5. Soundplate Clicks
Price: Free $0. Pro Unlimited for Artists $20 a month, or $15 a month billed $180 yearly. Label / Enterprise priced on request. Paid plans have a 7-day free trial.
Free plan: two Smart Links or pre-save pages, basic analytics, playlist add buttons and a social content creator.
Best for: artists already in the Soundplate world who want pre-save on Spotify and Deezer and pre-add on Apple Music. Pro adds unlimited links and pre-saves, email capture tools, an artist page, retargeting pixels, weekly email reports and branding removal; the Label plan manages several artists.
Limits: the free plan stops at two links, and email capture is a Pro feature. No press kit, no AI assistant.
6. Odesli (Songlink)
Price: free. Its pricing page lists two plans, "Automated" and "Custom", and both are free.
Free plan: paste one link and get a page that points to the same song or album on every major platform, with a custom URL on song.link, artist.link or other domains and room for ticket and merch links.
Best for: a quick universal link for a release that is already out, when you do not need pre-save or a fan list.
Limits: neither its homepage nor its pricing page mentions pre-save or email capture. It is a sharing tool, not a fan tool.

Where Linkfire still wins
1. Teams and rosters. Linkfire Teams gives up to five artist workspaces under one login for $55 a month. Stage is one artist per account today, and its multi-artist roster is in development, not shipped. A manager with five acts needs five Stage accounts.
2. A branded short domain. Every Linkfire plan includes the lnk.to domain with subdomains, which reads well in a bio and on a poster. Stage links live on stage.groovegainer.com and Stage has no custom domain yet. If the domain matters to you, Linkfire, Feature.fm (Artist and up) or Hypeddit (Basic and up) cover it.
3. Label-grade data and familiarity. Linkfire has been around since at least 2014, labels and distributors already know it, and every plan includes streaming insights and full analytics. Stage's full analytics are a Pro feature, and Stage is the younger product by a decade. If a label partner wants Linkfire reports, use Linkfire.
Two smaller ones: Linkfire syncs captured emails straight into Mailchimp, which Stage does not; Stage sends to your fans from its own Email Agent instead. And Linkfire removes its logo on every paid plan, while Stage's brandmark comes off only on Pro.
FAQ
How much does Linkfire cost per month?
Pro is $27 a month, or $21 a month billed yearly, for one artist. Teams is $55 a month, or $45 billed yearly, for up to five artist workspaces. Premium and Enterprise are priced on request. There is no free plan, only a 7-day or 14-day trial with no credit card. Prices checked on 4 October 2026.
Is Linkfire safe to use?
Yes, as far as we can see. Linkfire has operated since at least 2014, says it is "Trusted by major labels and over 50k artists", and publishes an annual report. Its Trustpilot profile had no reviews on 4 October 2026, so there is little public user feedback either way; use the free trial before paying for a year.
Is there a free Linkfire alternative with pre-save?
Yes. Stage Free includes email pre-save and fan email capture with no time limit. Copythistune's free plan includes pre-saves on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. Feature.fm Free includes one pre-save service. Soundplate Clicks Free allows two pre-save or Smart Link pages. How each kind of pre-save works is in the pre-save guide.
Can I move my Linkfire links to Stage?
There is no import. Recreate each link: paste the release's Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp or TIDAL URL into the Stage builder and it fills in the release details. Then update the link in your bios. Export your captured emails from Linkfire or Mailchimp first; importing a fan list into Stage by CSV is a Pro feature.
Linkfire vs Linktree: which is better for musicians?
They do different jobs. Linkfire is a release tool: a page per release with pre-save and streaming insights. Linktree is a bio link for everything you share, with a free plan; its musician page does not mention pre-save. If you want one tool for both the release page and the bio link, Stage, Copythistune and Hypeddit all do both.
